Dancing in Hazy Moonshine and City Lights

A few minutes ago, a gentle rain began to fall on the roof. I stepped outside to hear the slow, steady drip-drop off the gutters onto the fallen leaves below. The scent of freshly-dampened leaves always evokes memories of my childhood, of moments without a care when jumping headfirst into a pile of leaves was considered a days work.

A wave of nostalgia consumed me as gentle breezes blew through the trees, dancing silhouettes illuminated by hazy moonshine and city lights. Even in darkness, nature continues its beautiful symphony.
